kadosei gives eCommerce merchants a single integration into a growing pool of payment gateways, with every transaction scored and routed to whichever performs best in that moment. No individual gateway negotiations, no separate integrations to maintain, no dashboard-hopping to reconcile transactions.
Checkout stays redirect-based: card data is captured on the gateway's own hosted page, never on kadosei's servers or the merchant's. That keeps merchants targeting SAQ A, the lightest PCI DSS tier available, while still getting the benefit of routing across every gateway in the pool.
Merchants can route through their own PSP relationships, kadosei's, or a mix of both, decided transaction by transaction rather than locked in up front.

Each terminal encrypts to a single kadosei-controlled key. Behind the scenes, a hardware security module decrypts and re-encrypts to whichever provider the transaction is routed to, so kadosei never sees card data in the clear and the terminal never needs to know which gateway is handling it.
The architecture targets P2PE, the most rigorous PCI DSS certification available for card-present environments, built in from day one rather than bolted on.
