Technology & Security

A routing engine that never stops deciding.

Every transaction is scored against every available provider in real time and sent to whichever one gives it the best shot. If a provider goes down mid-flow, kadosei already knows and routes around it.

Platform principle

One routing engine. Two completely different checkouts.

Every transaction, on either side of the platform, is scored against every available provider in real time and sent to whichever one gives it the best shot, then automatically rerouted if that provider fails.

eCommerce runs through a redirect-based checkout. Fuel retail runs through a physical terminal. The routing engine underneath is identical either way.

Real-time provider scoring

Every provider is scored on live signals, success rate, latency, cost, before each transaction is routed. Not a static priority list.

Automatic failover

If the selected provider fails or times out, kadosei reroutes instantly. Merchant and customer never see it happen.

Provider agnostic

Works with the gateway or acquirer relationships merchants already have, or kadosei's own. The routing engine doesn't care who's behind it.

eCommerce

Redirect-based checkout. One API to run it.

A single API call resolves to a routing decision, and the customer is sent straight to the gateway's own hosted page to complete payment.

A
Customer

Initiates checkout on the merchant's site.

B
Merchant checkout

A single API call to kadosei, regardless of how many gateways sit behind it.

C
kadosei API

Routing decision made in real time. A checkout URL is returned.

D
Gateway-hosted page

Card data is captured here. It never enters kadosei.

Fuel Retail

One terminal. Every card type, bank or fleet.

Every fuel retail terminal accepts bank cards and fleet cards from the same device, routed to whichever provider can process each one. No swapping terminals, no separate fleet card infrastructure bolted on the side.

Single terminal
Bank + fleet cards, one device

Analytics & APIs

Every metric in one dashboard. Every action in one API.

Authorisation rates, routing savings, payment method mix, settlement discrepancies, failure reasons. It's all in one place, updated live, whichever provider or vertical the transaction ran through.

Unified analytics

One dashboard across every provider and vertical: authorisation rates, routing savings, payment method mix, failure analysis. Nothing to reconcile by hand across separate portals.

Full API access

Payments, reporting, webhooks and provider management are all available as APIs, documented in a single OpenAPI spec. Build on kadosei, not around it.

Unified webhooks

Full payment lifecycle events in real time, on one event schema, regardless of which provider processed the transaction.
